    Quadron Kills the “Ex-Factor”

@quadronMusic gives #LaurynHill a run for her money in their rendition of Lauryn’s hit song “Ex-Factor.” This Danish duo has been mentioned in earlier #Ohm blogs, but we really felt the need to “re-introduce” them to all of you. @CocoOwino and @RobinHannibal along with “unknown” table-percussionist, gives us a great version of the song. @Drake - “Doing It Wrong”

Don’t let the title of the blog fool you.  Drake is doing it right, orchestrating a good album.  He stayed true to his musical spirit, and did not adopt much of the #YMCMB bullsh*t; making one of the most refreshing albums I have heard since The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.  Don’t get me wrong Drake is no Lauryn. But given the rampant greed, misogyny and ignorance that pervades today’s music, Drake’s latest LP is definitely worth listening to.  The stand out track for me is “Doing It Wrong”, a song based on and inspired by Don McLean’s composition - “The Wrong Thing To Do” - from Don’s 1977 Prime Time album. .  Drake got #StevieWonder to deliver a harmonica solo that will surely make you hit the repeat button.  Yes, a harmonica on a Hip-Hop album.  I have to give Drizzy Drake credit where credit is do.  CLICK THE PIC to hear “Doing It Wrong”.  FOLLOW THE LINK to hear Drake comment on Stevie’s contribution to the record. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRltJAffP8g
